We need to move towards a respectful and sustainable way of living on the planet where we have forests that we co-habitat with Indigenous land defenders and other species. The root cause of our climate crisis is our relationships with nature and other animals. We are trying to change the global narrative and worldviews to help people understand the interconnectedness of all life on Earth.

Our environmental focus is on a safe and just food system incorporating interspecies, intragenerational, and intergenerational justice. We seek to find and implement practical and effective solutions to reduce the impact of the food system on our planetary and social boundaries. 

We recognize that the impact of the climate crisis is not felt evenly around the world. We take an intersectional stance, oppose all forms of discrimination, and build coalitions with environmental and other social justice groups. The discussion of animal agriculture needs a central space in the climate justice movement, including accessibility to nutritious plant-based food.

Teamwork cultivates motivation and collaborative behaviour, allowing us to effectively work towards our shared goals. Expanding team leadership encourages the development of local leadership and the growth of grassroots movements. We promote diversity, equity and inclusion through a commitment to a globally representative team in our recruitment processes.

Working together on common goals is essential to build something greater than one can alone in one’s silo. We provide training to our supporter base and work in coalition with partner groups to deliver our mission.
