1. Introduction
Plant Based Treaty relies on voluntary donations to support its advocacy, education, campaigns, events, and organizational activities.
By making a donation through our website, you agree to these Donation Terms & Refund Policy.
2. Donation Processing
Donations made through the Plant Based Treaty website may be processed by third-party fundraising and payment service providers, including Donorbox and associated payment processors.
By making a donation, you authorize the processing of your payment information for the purpose of completing your donation.
Plant Based Treaty does not store complete payment card information.
3. Use of Donations
Unless otherwise stated, donations support Plant Based Treaty’s general educational, advocacy, and operational activities.
Plant Based Treaty retains discretion regarding the allocation and use of donated funds to support its mission and objectives.
4. Donation Currency
Donations may be processed in various currencies depending on the donation platform and donor location.
Exchange rates and financial institution fees may affect the final amount charged or received.
Plant Based Treaty is not responsible for exchange-rate fluctuations or third-party banking fees.
5. Recurring Donations
If you choose a recurring donation option, you authorize Plant Based Treaty and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method at the agreed frequency.
You may modify or cancel recurring donations at any time through the applicable donation platform or by contacting us.
Cancellation requests will apply to future recurring payments and will not automatically refund payments already processed.
6. Refund Policy
Plant Based Treaty recognizes that donation errors can occur and will review refund requests in good faith.
Refund requests may be considered where:
- An incorrect amount was donated;
- A duplicate donation was made;
- A donation was made without authorization;
- A technical processing error occurred.
Refund requests should be submitted within 30 days of the donation date.
Requests should include:
- Donor name;
- Donation date;
- Donation amount;
- Contact information;
- Explanation of the request.

7. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Except where required by law, donations generally will not be refunded solely because a donor later changes their mind regarding support for Plant Based Treaty or its activities.

9. Fraud Prevention
Plant Based Treaty reserves the right to review, reject, cancel, or refund donations where fraud, misuse, unauthorized activity, or legal compliance concerns are identified.
