Earth Day at the Bay

Join us as we celebrate Earth Day 2024 with West Florida Climate Save representing the Plant Based Treaty!

As advocates for the environment, we believe in the power of a plant-based diet to make a positive impact on our planet. Scientifically sound, this dietary choice is more planet-friendly than one reliant on animal products. Today, we stand united in advocating for this cause.

Teaming up with the Sarasota Vegan Society, West Florida Climate Save will be tabling at this event, providing informative handouts promoting the benefits of a plant-based diet for our environment. We will also be advocating for the endorsement of the Plant-Based Treaty by the city of Sarasota, as well as individuals, businesses, organizations, and governments.

We welcome volunteers to join us in this important conversation. While some knowledge of the subject is preferred, all are encouraged to participate, including those who are not yet vegan or plant-based. Our goal is to broaden understanding of the issues and the impact of consuming animal products on both our health and the planet.
